So sure, you buy your first crops, you talk to everyone, build a barn and get animals. One more thing. I don't know if it's just me, everything seems so much harder to do. All the raw materials don't make much money at all. Did you accidentally drop something.
It was just so dull. Courting. Then I bought this. But now he's just as bored as I am).
Mining. I found the opening cut scenes funny, and the art work is cute.But I got bored fast. Ok, so here's the thing. You don't even start out with a lumber shed, a barn, or a silo. Be ready to fight off dark animals.
But honestly; I thought this was such a disappointment.The graphics are similar to MFoMT, and I actually like the music a lot. You'd better have a lot of patience. Normally, I'm really easy on things. I own the Game Boy More Friends of Mineral Town and A Wonderful life for PS2 from Harvest Moon.
That's enough bashing from me. It doesn't matter if it's your own property. I'm sure if you've never played the Harvest Moon games before, you may enjoy this. (By the way: what the heck is with that). Even if you drop a WEED on your farm, the villagers get upset.
(I have a friend who did. But this game didn't do it for me. If you're a long time fan, I wouldn't purchase. I don't normally get this upset with anything at all.
I wanted to love it, just because I love Harvest Moon so much. No worries; except for the fact that everyone's liking for you, and I mean everyone, suddenly decreases. At least in MFoMT and A Wonderful Life, you could count on that if you're hurting. Then when all that was done, I had to stop playing.
You have to build pretty much ev-ry-thing.
Couple of things wrong with it though,1) A Watering Can glitch after you upgraded it passed Mystic (Highest), once you have it you can no longer water, or fill your can or used the Blessed Watering can. This Harvest Moon game is one of the best. T_T so they sent me a new game and I had to start all over.2) Cook-Off Event Glitch, if the theme is Ovan, then you might as well skip the event entirly, the game will freeze you in the event and you'll have to reset the system.Other then that it is a pretty fun game, except for the hand cramps from taking care of the animals. Its only happend to couple of people, but I sent it in and Natsume couldn't fix it. Its easy to play and there isn't much to it except for farming. I am seriously addicted to it.
Pretty much the same as Harvest Moon, but without all the glitches. I love this Game.
After the 3rd time I turned on the DS and had only "New Game" available, I just threw it away. Well the game itself is tons of fun and if you liked other harvest moon games, you're sure to like this one too. HOWEVER I don't know if I received a defective cartridge or what, but my saved game keeps randomly disappearing.
I'm not sure yet if it has a storyline. I love raising the animals on my farm, and I definitely like flirting with the boys. but it does have random events and scenes that are triggered depending on your relationship with certain individuals in the game.I'd recommend this to older "kids" and little kids too.I give it an 8/10 because it's a good game, but there's always something better. I have never before played Harvest Moon, so I cannot compare it to any of the others.A friend recommended I try Harvest Moon, so I picked this one because a) it's on DS and b) the main character is a girl.It is very fun and addicting. I am not even sure what makes it so addicting.
